TEHRAN – Iran’s adherence to the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is going to be discussed at the country’s Supreme National Security Council after some found fault with it.
This was announced by government spokesman Mohammad Baqer Nobakht on Tuesday, ISNA reported.
On the same day, 151 MPs addressed President Hassan Rouhani in a letter calling him to drop the agenda.
Rouhani recently revealed documents that shows the Majlis, Judiciary, and many other bodies had approved of the agenda’s implementation over past months.
